Need comfort food in a hurry? This simple tortellini dish from the formidable Helen Graham delivers maximum flavour in under 10 minutes. Tender spinach and ricotta tortellini are tossed with kale in a silky miso-butter sauce, brightened with lemon and finished with a generous helping of chilli crisp and Parmesan. Quick, comforting, and exactly what you need when the day has got the better of you.

Ingredients
- Shop bought spinach and ricotta tortellini. (Also works with any gluten free pasta)
- Kale 1 handful
- Miso 1 tbs
- Butter 2 tbs (Or your preferred fat of choice)
- Lemon 1 squeeze
- Chilli crisp 1 tbs
- Parmesan - plenty please.
Method
- Add your pasta and kale to boiling water.
- After 3 minutes remove a ladle of pasta water and add to another pan.
- To the pasta water add a tbs of miso and 2 tbs of butter with a squeeze of lemon.
- Drain your pasta once soft and add to the sauce.
- Serve with a generous topping of chilli crisp and a mound of Parmesan. (Yet to find a dish that this garnish does not work on…)
