Marmite Butter Miso Noodles

Stephen Marsh-Blades of @TheGourmetGays made us an amazing dish this week ^^.
A quick, comforting noodle dish packed with rich savoury flavour from buttery miso and marmite, balanced by sweet peas, fresh spring onion and a gentle chilli warmth.
Ingredients
- Noodles (Your choice we went with flat rice noodles)
- Peas (Frozen please)
- Spring onion (Finely chopped)
For the Sauce
- 2 tbsp butter (We used goat but can be cow or vegan block)
1 tbsp marmite
1 tbsp miso (We went 50:50 oat and pea)
Pinch of chilli flakes
Directions
Boil your noodles till tender, strain and run some cold water over them (This will help wash off the starch and prevent them from sticking in a big clump).
If you want to serve them hot, when you are ready to serve up, boil the kettle again and steep them with the peas for 1 minute before straining a second time and adding the sauce.
If the weather is looking rosy, they are equally good cold.
Melt the butter in a pan, mix in the miso and marmite.
To Serve
Toss your noodles in the sauce then garnish with chilli flakes and spring onion.
